I am a disabled woman with Cerebral Palsy. This has affected both my legs and my right arm. Participating in physical events while trying to raise money for causes closest to my heart is at the best of times, extremely challenging and in some cases impossible.

I’ve been participating in virtual challenges since 2020. To date, I have cycled in nine different events totalling a distance of 205 miles by using my trusted Motomed exercise bike! Now, I am ready and excited to show my support again by participating in my second virtual Poppy Cycle Challenge.

On Saturday, 21st September using my Motomed exercise bike I will cycle 9.8 miles nonstop starting at the Peebles War Memorial and finishing at the Walkerburn War Memorial. I have chosen this route because I am familiar with the area and both memorials. Not only will this challenge test my mental resilience, but it will also push my Cerebral Palsy to another level.

I'm inspired by the work of Poppyscotland and I want to pay tribute and raise vital funds to help Poppyscotland continue supporting the Armed Forces community living in Scotland today.

Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. The more people that know about Poppyscotland, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
