I am extremely proud of my Scottish relatives who have fought in two World Wars to ensure Scotland remains a free country, free from oppression and the likes of war criminals such as 'Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin '!

I had a father who navigated Lancaster Bombers during WW2 and two grandfathers who both fought in France in WW1 as members of the artillery. Although, all survived who knows what mental anguish they endured and had to live with. They did this to allow me and my family to be free and voice our opinions as we wish!

This famous poem sums it up:

In Flanders Fields, the poem by John McCrae

In Flanders' Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders' Fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep,
though poppies grow
In Flanders' Fields.

Thanks.
