Zip Trek and Gorge Challenge Unleash your adventurous spirit: the Zip Trek and Gorge challenge 2024! Just pay a registration fee of £80 for one event to fundraise a minimum of £175 to help support Poppyscotland's life-changing initiatives for the Armed Forces community. Restrictions: Over eight-year-olds (under 13s must be accompanied by an adult on the course; max two under 13’s per adult). Max weight limit: 120 kilograms (19 stone) Must fit into Zip Harnesses: Waist (max) 110cm (44 inches); Leg girth (max) 75cm (30 inches) FAQ The Gorge Walk can only be undertaken from the beginning of April to the end of September. This is due to health and safety, as the activity centre cancel the event if they have heavy rain outside of these months. The Zip Trek can be undertaken all year round. Poppyscotland can block book days for groups, up to a maximum of 50 personal a day. If smaller groups/individuals want to do it with other likeminded Poppyscotland fundraising teams doing the same challenge, then we will select nominated dates throughout the year. If smaller teams/individuals cannot attend nominated dates, then we can book a date that is specified by the individual, but you will likely be undertaking the event with other individuals that are not representing Poppyscotland.
